Project Overview:
Republic Services was looking to do redo their site meant to accompany their rebrand and the launch of their new bill pay service. Their previous site also contained a complex navigation with duplicate content that confused users. As the User Experience Architect on the project, I was tasked with creating a new IA, wireframes, both desktop and mobile views, and a request services prototype.
By understanding the nature of their vertical, I created an IA with user segmentation to help divide the content in a way that allowed users to self identify and be served content that speaks to them. The new site was also intended to act as a pseudo e-commerce site, where the user can select the services they would like to purchase and then be contacted by a rep.
Since the site launch their service requests have increased 3 fold.
